A minimum of two week of Chinese language course is included in the Volunteer Program. If you are a complete beginner in Chinese we strongly recommend you to follow a four-week Chinese language course before starting the volunteer project.
During the language course and the volunteer work the accommodation is in the hotel. In the second half of 2008 it will also become possible to stay in an apartment during the volunteer work.

- Accommodation during volunteer work
- Transfer from the airport upon arrival
- Organisation of the volunteer work
- Volunteer introduction meeting about the cultural differences when working
in China

Although participation in the Volunteer Program is free (only the course, accommodation, etc. are paid for) all volunteers are requested to pay a Volunteer fee. This money will be used to support the projects.
Application procedure
When booking the Volunteer Program we will ask you to send us your resume (CV) and a motivation letter. Based on this information, the length of your commitment and the current needs of the partner organisation your application is assessed. The final decision on the acceptance of the volunteer is taken by the partner organisation.
Starting dates
You can start with the Volunteer Program on every Monday. If you arrive a few days earlier, or want to stay longer after finishing the project, extra nights accommodation can be booked.
